Pastor’s Couples retreats
It's far too easy for a church Pastor to become isolated and discouraged.
As members of the church, we can become critical and develop unreasonable expectations from our leaders. Over time these seemingly isolated incidents can rob our pastors of the joy that originally prompted them into the ministry.
Our goal at the PFW Foundation is to come alongside those leaders and offer refreshment and encouragement.
In doing this we believe it's critical to involve the spouses too—because unless they are unified in their calling to ministry their work will be compromised and ineffective.
Our retreat structure is developed to bring couples together, allow them to interact with other couples, and be renewed in their calling to lead Christ's church. It's an escape to an environment where the goal is simply to let them be loved and cared for—A safe place where they can be open without judgement— and know there are other leaders facing the same pressures— they are not alone.
During each 4 day, 3 night session our host team makes space for each couple to connect with each other and with the Lord. Our goal is for them to leave refreshed physically, relationally and spiritually.
